The Milgis Trust is developing its organisational structure (Figure below) to ensure that conservation and development priorities are determined at the community level.
The Trust Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Trust’s activities are efficiently implemented and, in conjunction with the Management Committee, will coordinate the development of its role as an umbrella organisation for the ten administrative Locations in which it is currently working.
Each Location will elect a Conservation Committee which is responsible for identifying and implementing their community’s conservation and development priorities. The Security teams are employed by their respective Conservation Committees.
